Hello everyone. Warm greetings from MASSOC and we hope all is well. We would like to invite everyone to the first collaboration between Malaysian and Singaporean Society (MASSOC) and Sheffield Malaysian Students Association (SMSA) for this term!
Presenting Malaysian open house which can also be known as ‘Jamuan Makan’ aims to promote Malaysian culture through a few of home-cooked delicacies prepared by our lovely students. If you’re craving for some home-cooked food, this is definitely a chance not to be missed!
As it is a Jamuan Makan, it is open to public but limited to 150 pax, 75 persons from SMSA and MASSOC respectively. We are charging a small fee of £5 for member and £6 for non-member, do present your membership card when purchasing. It is definitely a good opportunity not only to mingle with freshers and seniors but also an awesome one to diversify your social circle. At the same time promote our culture to other people!
Attendees are encouraged to attend in traditional costume, be it Malay, Chinese, Indian or even Bumiputera. Best dressed male and female are also entitled to win away some reaaaaaaally cool prizes!
We highly recommend our members to take part in this event. As it was stated before we are limiting places to 150 people from both societies so do secure your place asap. Our 75 tickets will be on sale from 12/11 onwards, please check the schedule below.
