What is MASSOC?

Brief History
MASSOC has been around to ensure the welfare and well-being of Malaysian and Singaporean Sheffield Students since 1965. In 2 years’ time, we will be 50 years old! Half a century old! Wow.

Activities and Events
MASSOC has a wide range of activities and events all year round such as dinner events, potlucks, weekly social, sports socials and clubbing night. We also have major events like Dinner and Dance and the Sheffield Malaysian Night. Besides that, you will get a chance to be involved in university activities and events too like International Students Events, World Food Festival, International Cultural Evening and World Week. Every year, MASSOC also organises about 3 day trips within the UK and one international trip. Why not seize the chance to travel and get to know UK and even Europe?

Travelling
Every year, MASSOC also organises about 3 day trips within the UK and one international trip. This is a good opportunity to seize the chance to travel. The MASSOC 2012 trip was to Poland!

Support
As its names read, MASSOC will always be there to provide help and support to Malaysian and Singaporean students, giving the students who are away from home a sense of belonging and familiarity and playing a part in making your university life unforgettable.
